You can unlock it pretty easy. Rena has a harder time but it's still much easier than it used to be. Just craft with 10 irons and reset if you don't get it

The Spirit Bracelet is hardly even useful now that the remake has introduced a bunch of ways to quickly generate a huge amount of money and raise skill levels.

Your better off starting without it and unlocking it manually with item creation for the 100 free SP that can go into the pickpocket talents, because pickpocket is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ expensive with SP this time around

From which character? First time playing this, so I know nothing about it, plus, I remember other games that had unique/exclusive items locked behind pickpocketing, most specially the Castlevania curse of Darkness, where only way to obtain those items was restarting or surviving the entire boss rush while stealing the items.

And I probably have FOMO and not a lot of spare time to replay the game for jsut missed items to see them

you should just enjoy your first play through blind. you can optimize all the fun out of your play through the next time you play.

If it's like the original, Rena has a higher chance to start with Nimble Fingers, while Claude has a higher chance to learn it if he doesn't start with it.
But yeah, you don't need to pickpocket anything.
