its not a specs problem.. game run 120fps most the time, it literally just goes black screen while playing the game music when you try to leave the village after the little kid says to stick to the road

nvm, for some reason verifying files this time actually worked as opposed to the first time... weird, but ill take it all the same. i can only hope that was a 1 time thing

The fix is actually installing custom driver here

https://sourceforge.net/projects/amernimezone/files/Release%20Polaris-Vega-Navi/Release%20AMD%20SoC/

instead of driver from official steam. Honestly I don't have any hope at all about steam official drivers anymore.

FYI: I am using SD in windows 11

installing random drivers from a 3rd party site is living a fun kind of danger

60 hours now with no crash. I even let the game idle for hours while I was at work with the screen saver on.

Still not sure how you guys manage to find all these random crashes. I run Win 11 on a 5950X and an overclocked 2080 Ti. I still think people have power supply issues or RAM compatibility issues sometimes. I always go for top end RAM in matching pairs and at least a gold certed PSU. I personally use a titanium certed Seasonic.
