Combat has been significantly overhauled. It's still questionable if melee uses beat casters, but casters seem like they aren't useless anymore.
But with that said, Rena's recruit able character is infinitely cooler than Claude's.
On serious note, since casters got a total re-do in this version taking them is no longer a waste of a spot so Claude doesn't have that one useless recruit anymore. Makes picking a protagonist much harder this go around.
Personally I've never picked Claude because in the older versions the choice between Leon or Dias was a no brainer. The fact casters have all been re-done to not be so useless makes me actually want to try Celine or Noel for the last spot but I can't decide if having Noel for back-up heals is worth spending the first 10-20 hours with only Rena and Claude.
Both get Claude who is pretty much the best dps in the game due to early op weapons so it basically comes down to the choice of do you want a cat boy caster or a daddy swordsman?
Agreed.
Also, ew. Why?!
wait i thought you need to collect certain amount of voice clips to unlock Universe?
Want to rocks full melee party in universe?
Pick Rena
You don't understand that sentence? Pick Claude :p
the correct way to say that would be simply to tell people to check their innate property at a new game to be sure they have the pickpocket trait.
