Did you use the default 12 sample count for that result? My ROG Strix RTX 2080 Ti was only able to get 60FPS by dropping the sample count to 6; really shows how much ray tracing improvement was added for the 30-series. :pcbs_gpu:

Hmm. I have everything updated with the latest downloads Win10 64bit and 2080. It says I'm unable to run the test. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Try updating your GPU drivers to the latest version if you haven't already and then restart the PC, that may solve the problem.

Looking forward testing the new AMD RX 6000 lineup (:
That is quite interesting! I might give it a try when I upgrade my Intel HD Graphics 4600 to something a 'little' better 🙂 For now I'll watch it on youtube.

You'll need Windows 10, 64-bit with the May 2020 Update (version 2004) and a graphics card with drivers that support DirectX Raytracing Tier 1.1 to run the test.
I have a feeling all these "Tiers" in DX support and DX version names are getting more and more confusing each year.
If anyone was similarly confused like me, then here is a quote from Microsoft:
None of these features specifically require new hardware. Existing DXR Tier 1.0 capable devices can support Tier 1.1 if the GPU vendor implements driver support.

Yeah first thing I did was update everything with the latest downloads and restart. Then I looked around the internet.

Damn is that thing ugly. I expected more from a raytracing test and they got nothing to compare it to on theyr website either.

Also 20 fps on an RTX2080 is a joke lol. I have the feeling this bench is just out there to create more RTX3k demand... as if NV could meet it.

49.5 fps with RTX 3080, default 12 samples.
Please add a Vulkan Raytracing option as well
