thanks, everything worked
Fixed. New variant with GA104 chip.
I have tested with gen 4 nvme, gen 3 nvme, sata ssd, hybrid and standard HDD.
The green dot is at the floor on all of them.
There is no reference to others
At present it seems like mostly a waste of money and time.
The GPU selector feature tried to enumerate display devices and the system call failed. First thing I'd try is to wipe graphics drivers using Display Driver Uninstaller ( www.wagnardsoft.com ) and then reinstall latest drivers for your GPU. Also close any virtual machines or applications that share desktop (ie. extend desktop to a tablet)
If this does not solve it, send a result file from a failed run to ul.benchmarksupport@ul.com and mention that you already tried the driver wipe using DDU.
Fire Strike has no GPU selector so it working just confirms this is localized to the GPU selector feature.
Also have question about achievements, is Time Spy considered as DirectX 12 benchmark? Didnt get "Good" and "Integration Nation" if i ran.
However, I can't seem to update the program. When I open up 3DMark, there's a notification at the bottom telling me to update, and that I have version 2.18.7185, while the latest version is 2.21.7312.0. But when I click on the "Download" button, an "Install" button appears, then automatically jumps to "Verifying: 0%", before going back to the initial notification with the "Download" button.
If I manage to click on the "Install" button before it jumps to "Verifying", a red notification at the top of the screen appears saying: "The update files could not be found in the expected place. Please reinstall the software and try again."
If I try any other update buttons in the program (e.g. on the Time Spy home screen, or on the Settings screen), those don't seem to work either.
I've looked in the install folder (C: > Program Files > UL > 3DMark), and there is an "UpdaterUi.exe" file, but when I double click that, it just creates an "update.debug" file with the timestamp of when I clicked.
Can't seem to find a way to manually update or download the non-Steam application from the official website, so currently not sure what to do.
Otherwise, the program seems to be running fun, just offering the limited selection of Basic Edition.
If you want to use the standalone Basic Edition you would probably have to reinstall it, downloading the full installer from some mirror site like Guru3D.com or TechPowerup.com for example.
windows 10 works fine and auto update to latest version of windows 11 21H2 then keep crash (after running 3 sec)
