Portable installation?
Does anyone know if 3DMark allows you to install this on a USB stick? I'd love to use this for all the multiple systems I've got, but would prefer to you know, plug it in, test, and then onto the next one. I know installing directly to an external drive doesn't work for the older versions, but hopefully this does?

Nope. Installation is required as Futuremark SystemInfo, Visual C++ 2012 and NET Framework 4.5 are required.

Yes, well sort of. You have to install it to get the files extracted, then you can transfer the files wherever you'd like and run the exe. Saves you the ACTUAL install. However if your looking for a single portable exe you can run FROM/ON a usb stick itself - thats a negative afaik. I dont like having benchmarks installed on my pc. Looks like clutter in my eyes. Espeically when most of them are portable and dont require windowsinstaller. Its the method I use. I drag and drop the files from the install into a benchmarks folder and keep it there.

Their used to be a program which would make apps portable but ive long forgotten what it was called.
