It's a cute little benchmark.
I guess that this test is geared more for phones and other handhelds than desktop PCs though, right?
But it is also released on Windows so you can compare for example latest phones to iGPUs and budget dGPUs with RT support. And it can also be used as a compliance test to verify that Vulkan 1.1 RT extensions work for your GPU and its driver.
Running it on top end GPUs is somewhat pointless as it runs at so high framerate that bottleneck will probably be elsewhere.
Does it mean the achievements will automatically pop up after launching the patched version tomorrow or will we need to run the benchmark again ?
Hoping for the first option since I'm chasing the Legendary achievement for so long and it's right there, but out of reach ! If tons of people do the benchmark, I'm afraid I won't be getting legendary tomorrow
My only hope I guess is enough people are in a certain percentile and I can stick it in the upper 1%
But once the heavy duty competitors get in there I am toast.

On the upside, the update will have couple of additional fixes (working around the RTSS.exe crash and an fixing issue on Android side with some Snapdragon devices)
Most common reason is that you have RTSS.exe (usually part of Afterburner) in the background.
We will work around this in the next update, in the meanwhile, close RTSS.exe before running the test.

As other said you need to reach the upper 1% for your GPU. Its not really based on the score more the statistical placing of that score.
If you really want to "game" for this achievement, try to setup as rare CPU+GPU combination as possible. GPU or CPU can be common, as long as the pairing is rare.
But for Solar Bay, wait for next update. The UI needs a fix to enable these achievements for Solar Bay.
.. It runs the latest unreal engine 5 vulkan mobile games at max settings / 60+ fps...
And it's the best samsung phone on the market cuz 21 and later are just cutdown iphone clones..
Dunno why you make benchmarks for APIs/features that test games that simply don't exist and won't for years. If UE5 vulkan games aren't using whatever extension my phone is missing today, they won't be for a long ass time, and probably never without fallback support. Vulkan caps viewer says it supports 1.1, and given its updated to android 13, yea i cant see it missing it.
And yea pc version kept crashing without any useful error message on my PC untli i closed RTSS.. some actual useful error messages for the users or point us to a log ot look at would be good. just a dumb "an error occured" really not helpful.
