14900k is only 430 points faster???? I am returning the 14900k later today

Not surprising, since Time Spy is an older test and the CPU test portion does not scale much beyond 8 cores. If you want to compare CPU performance of CPUs with more than 8 cores you should use either CPU Profile or Time Spy Extreme.

VBS/HVCI is running/enabled on your 14900k setup, but disabled on the 13700k setup, trying disabling those with your 14900k and see if that makes a difference

I returned the 14900K. It felt sluggish and slower than the 13700k. Opening stuff at same time 13700k was faster,

I didnt want to be bothered with the worry, I bought the core 7 ultra 265k and a asus rog strix z890-f mobo. Ill provide new scores sometime next week after it is all put together.
