Already checked before posting on here, its listed but no product key...
Ok, so what your saying is just start the app and go to Help tab, my product key will be there?
How can I upload one result with advanced edition when I don't have the product key to unlock it in the first place?
Ok, thanks for that, when I access my gaming PC and its subsequent steam client, I'll check out my library again.
I agree in principle with what your saying, it is silly and time wasting to download this particular software again when its already installed on the machine... this is the BS we have to put up with in the digital age...
This is due to Steam achievements and Steam top lists. If you use the Steam version, it must start via Steam. But you can always install the standalone version installer and use the same product key that you purchased from Steam (it is visible in the Help tab - need to start the Steam version once to get it).
With the standalone version, you will lose is the ability to get Steam achievements or get your score to the Steam 3DMark top lists. Also the current version does not offer as easy updates (tho that is going to change in the upcoming update)
