Try to alter the fan curve with 3rd party tools, or in the bios if allowed.
Be sure the windows settings are also "silent"/ low power mode.
Next time buy a AMD CPU driven Laptop and you wouldn't have a turbo fan sound every time you start a programm (Intel: 150W boost peak, AMD 75W boost peak, even in laptops)
I adjusted the CPU usage and set Silent mode, but I can still hear the fans. I never had this issue with an Asus laptop (old i7 cpu). I have also just tried another TUF one with AMD cpu. Both of them are omega-silent, zero noise.
I have tried literally everything. I'll never choose MSI again for the rest of my life. Useless support too. "Nah it's just fine, that's the way it works". Well, works terribly.
Literally one browser open, with one tab open, fan activated. Okay.
I've also found out that, if you don't tweak the old Windows 7 power management, the OS will aways run at least at 4 GHz with Performance power plan, even if MSI Center says "Silent mode". That's very silly, especially if we think that these CPUs have big.LITTLE tech. Tech that work horribly, even worse on MSI.
I can understand not liking it though.
