You can run with any kind of monitor - 3DMark runs internally at 1440p and then scales to your windows desktop resolution.
Could you post screenshot of your task manager showing all running processes (upload to imgur.com for example and link here)?
MSI Afterburner could cause issues, for example.
Also Avast is known to quarantine 3DMark Time Spy main executable (false positive) make sure it is not the cause of the error. Do "Verify integrity of application cache" and then make sure Avast doesn't quarantine the Time Spy executable (if it is quarantined, it would immediately fail to run the test and then show 0 score)
I also hope you disabled AVAST *before* you verified files, or the file it got via verification just got instantly quarantined again...
Might be worth trying to reinstall the video drivers using custom -> perform clean install - any change?
Does Fire Strike run normally on the system?
