For Time Spy you do need to buy the upgrade DLC to unlock custom options, stress test and demo disable tho.
p.s. Got 7020 score on my first run (default clocks).
That's what I was thinking. IT felt really off for those customers who have already supported the product for so little feature additions for the retail price of $9.99 DLC.
I do have a slight feeling it's a little on the expensive side, though :/
5 euro if we get it before the 29th and 10 afterwards?
I feel that 3 euro's would be more apropriate price.
Btw.
I gigled a bit when I saw the score of my 980M powered Alienware M17 R3, only 3 or 4 FPS :) seems nVidia has some tweaking to do in their optimus (also the reason I dislike switchable graphics...). My desktop's Fury X did a lot better with 30ish FPS :)

without the option to skip the demo, I cant really be bothered to keep trying. im guessing its something to do with SLI.
If you buy the upgrade ($4.99 right now on sale, $9.99 after the sale ends), it unlocks custom settings, demo enable/disable and Stress Test for Time Spy, plus detailed result graphs.
We could've released this as a completely new product separate from existing 3DMark, but it seemed like a better idea to have it built into 3DMark as a paid DLC. Way cheaper than full new 3DMark would've been as well.
