Please get rid of Java
I know this is much easier said than done but I hope that in the future releases you will ditch Java for many reasons.

During the installation Sophos' HitmanPro.ALERT has alerted me regarding the mitigations and according to the developers the reason was:

"3DMark is using Java to install Windows binaries on the machine. That is not permitted obviously, Java should only run Java code and not mingle with other non-Java binaries."

3DMark's Java installation is not even seen as an installed applications so many users might not even know their machines have Java installed. This can be a serious security issue.

goto beta version and use previous version, that version seems better and has no java, very odd security decisions made on the newest version, aside from java it also makes random dll files inside programdata which is a folder supposed to be for non executable files only.

3DMark is not using a standalone Java. It is all bundled into it and you have a bad security software that can't tell apart standalone Java doing something and Java build into the application doing something.

3DMark does not install Java. Other applications cannot use the Java instance that is in 3DMark installation.

ProgramData side only applies to Standalone installer.

been bundled doesnt make it any more secure. Its a normal java binary (out of date also) put in the 3dmark binary path.

I am just curious really why you guys started using java when its going out of fashion.
