3D Mark Tests Wont Launch
I just bought 3DMark on Steam on a sale for $5, so I though it would be nice to have... None of the tests launch. All I get is "error.result_missing". No info on google, no info on their site. They charge $25 normally for this junk to give your errors and not work? What can I do?

Did you download the test DLCs (they are separate)? Check the application page on Steam client - do the DLCs show there? If not, you need to "buy" them from the store once (they are free). If they show but not enabled, enable them.

If Steam refuses to download them, then most likely you have either a messed up steam installation or family sharing enabled (see the "known issues" post up top)

Yes they are installed, they installed when I launched it for the first time.

So... you have tests installed and you click "run" and... then they exit?

Most likely some background app blocking full screen DX11 view then? Do you happen to have anything like TeamViewer, or some kind of USB-VGA adaptor in the system? Anything else that migh draw overlays or otherwise attach to the DirectX stack?

If needed, please email to info@futuremark.com with a screenshot of your task manager showing all running processes and copy of the log in Documents/3Dmark folder (3dmark.log file is there) and I'll take a look.

Alright, here's a picture of what it says:

The screenshot doesn't add any more information - would need to see the contents of the log file and/or screenshot of your task manager showing what is running on the system in the background.

Well this is what I found in the log.

Well, those errors in the log definitely explain why it is failing. As to what on earth is going on, I don't know - I've forwaded the screenshot to the lead programmer of the UI and I'm waiting for more info from him.

Do you have this file in existence from previous use of standalone version?

c:\ProgramData\Futuremark\3DMark\customPathInUse.txt

If so, delete that and try again.

That appeared to have worked, I'll see if anything else acts up. Thanks!
