3DMark

Program takes forever to collect system info and produces invalid results
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and verifying game cache 5 times and get the same problem. Everytime the program starts it comes up with the installation dialog, and most times exiting the program causes a hang where Steam thinks 3dmark is still running.

System is as follows:

CPU: Intel i7-7700K @ 5ghz
GPU: Asus GTX 1070 OC @ +75 core/+500 mem, 391.35 drivers
MB: Asus Maximus 8 Hero Z170 (Latest BIOS 3703)
RAM: G.Skill DDR4 3200 CL14 @ DDR4-3200 12-12-12-30-1T
OS: Windows 10 Pro Build 1803

All overclocks are stress test stable. Nothing but Steam is running in background.

Here's the run where the problem happens: https://www.3dmark.com/spy/3655813

Trying to run the systeminfo installer from the steamapps folder produces this error: http://s000.tinyupload.com/?file_id=08053025744753048245

Thanks, Jarnis. That did the trick. I guess the installation of SystemInfo got borked in the past.

Thank you Jarnis, been having this issue as well, uninstalling the system info did the trick, you would think that would happen when you uninstall and re-install the program, that did not fix the issue. Thanks again. :steamhappy:
