How to Connect my old Futuremark/3dmark account to Stream?

I had an old account directly with 3dmark in the past and recently I bought the stream version.
Now I tried through the 3dmark website and my old account to connect to the stream version, but I have received a message that my stream account is already connected with another 3dmark account..

How can I change that and connect it properly?

Login to 3dmark.com using Steam sign-in.

Look at Settings, which account your Steam login is tied to?

Can you then, under Settings - Account Merge login with your old account to merge it into the account using Steam sign-in?

Can confirm this merging of accounts works like a charm as I had multiple old accounts that are now combine as one using my Steam account.
