Cant open 3dmark file result

Hi. Cant open 3dmark file result on documents. File are without added to 3dmark. So when i am opening nothing happens. I have installed 3dmark should i reinstall ?

Basic Edition cannot open saved files, are you using that?

If using Advanced Edition, you can load results from the result tab.

I have payed for 3dmark in steam. I guess its pro edition.

Alright . I load from 3dmark results. Resolved. Thanks. Anyway i have queston. Is this possible that 3dmark will pass and make result without generating result file? Or i was dreaming that i had result without file. Thx

No, if run ends (even if it fails), an autosaved result file is generated. Only way this could not occur is if system blocks writing to Documents folder.

Yes. Once you hit "run" and per-run SystemInfo scan starts, a result file of some sort is generated. Only case when this does not occur is if system actively blocks writing to Documents/3DMark/ and saving the file fails. And in that case a lot of other stuff is also likely to break.

The file may be missing stuff (no hardware info if SystemInfo scan fails, no results if tests fail) but here is always a file.

If anybody knows how to make it open directly from clicking on the file I'd appreciate it. I've tried associating it with 3Dmark but cant find the correct 3dmark executable. Is it an issue because I have the steam version maybe?

It is currently not possible. Only loadable via Results page in 3DMark itself (and only in Advanced Edition)
