Doesn't recognize my system
Hi!

after updating my bios to latest version (Versión 1704, released a couple of weeks ago) and changing my GPU, my system is not recognized by 3dMARK (it doesn't recognize CPU, GPU or Memory) and It worked before (with previous BIOS and previous GPU (GTX1080).

My current specs are:
MB: Asus ROG Strix Z390-E Gaming
CPU: Intel Core i7-9700K 3.6Ghz @ 4.9GHz
RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro DDR4 3333MHz CL16 (2 x 16GB)
GPU: NVIDIA MSI GeForce RTX 3080 VENTUS 3X OC 10GB GDDR6X

Any idea? Thanks!:huey:

Is Futuremark SystemInfo component installed? If it is, try uninstalling it from Program list, then revalidating 3dmark files to reinstall it on next 3dmark start.

I have the same problem. It seems Steam dosent install the Futurmark SystemInfo component at all. I cant find the Futuremark SystemInfo component in the program list.

We had an issue last weekend. It was fixed. If you revalidate files now, it should be installed on next startup.

Just installed 3D Mark for the first time on my laptop & it can't find neither my GPU, CPU and RAM. It ran the test and gave me a score though. Here's the test.

Can't reproduce why it would not install SystemInfo module from Steam at this time. Clean OS, Steam, installing 3DMark for the first time installs Futuremark SystemInfo on first startup of 3DMark just like it should.

If yours does not have this component installed, the supported method to force (re)install is by revalidating the files from Steam. Revalidate (right click, properties, local files) and on next startup SystemInfo should be installed.

Only thing I could think of is if you have some very old version installed on your system of Futuremark SystemInfo and the installation of latest one cannot update it. Uninstall any old Futuremark SystemInfo from windows program list first.

The module can also be manually installed from this link:

Hello, I have the same issue with a complete fresh install of 3D Mark, when I run System Info manually it seems it can't save/read the result XML, see error message: https://imgur.com/a/eIY1PKO

Then collection is failing completely. Go to second tab, enable redirect output tickbox, redo the scan from first tab, then send the client and scanner log txt files that appear in SystemInfo install folder to ul.benchmarksupport@ul.com and include description of your hardware configuration.

Hello again, I solved my issue thanks to your hint, the scan was failing in the following GPU section
2020.11.27 13:25:43:984 Info: GPUZ Info: GetVGAInfo succeeded 2020.11.27 13:25:43:984 Info: GPUZ Info: Property: 59 (MEM VENDOR) 2020.11.27 13:25:43:985 Info: GPUZ Info: GetVGAInfo begin

I have an AMD 3400G with an built-in GPU and I recently installed a Radeon RT 5600XT but for some reason both GPU adapters were still visible in Windows. I uninstalled the driver and deactivated the built-in gpu in BIOS, rebooted, reinstalled the drivers and now it's working correctly: http://www.3dmark.com/spy/15642482

Thanks for your quick reaction :)

Ive got the same problem from a recent build. Systeminfo just doesnt work.

The "MEM VENDOR" hang is an issue with AMD drivers (and GPU-Z DLL hanging due to the driver bug). Either new AMD driver or new GPU-Z DLL will fix this but I don't know yet how soon. And yes, it specifically occurs when you have two different AMD GPUs present.
