3d mark demo

since ive updated my pc the demo version has disappeared from my library and links on steam and 3d mark demo versions both take me to the paid for version ???

You sure you looking at the right place, under Software in Steam library?

Nothing has changed related to the demos. You should be able to download the demo via "Download Demo" button on the store page.

yep ive changed hdrive and cpu last week and it may have been installed on removed hdd but not showing in my library anymore ??

Have you checked the download tab in Steam? It should show if it is downloading.

Just double-checked with my account and I can download the demo off store page (right side, "Download Demo") just fine.

Only reason it would not download if Steam thinks you have it already installed. At which point this is a steam client issue, not a 3DMark issue.

Installed 3DMark Demo and just can't run any test: all except of 3 test go as "Not available". Other 3 - "Unable to run - need Win 10".
So, is it useless for me with my win7 and 1050ti?

UPD. omg, just WHY did you make all the test "being enabled" from DLC section, if the all already downloaded? THat's just stupid...
By the way, i STILL can't run anything: i go to DLC section, choose Fire Strike, click Download and... nothing happens. Just nothing. Absolutely.

Night Raid, Time Spy and Port Royal require Windows 10.

Extreme/Ultra variants of tests are not available in free Demo.

If you have DLC section, you are not using demo. Demo downloads all the tests in one go (Steam Demos cannot have DLCs).

Can you email me a screenshot of your 3DMark library page in Steam and options page in 3DMark (to [e-mail]) so I know exactly what is going on.

@Nero Chaos - thank you for supplying the details. Turns out that no, pirated 3DMark Professional Site License keys do not work with Steam version, Demo or Advanced.

I had Basic edition installed before, downloaded from Futuremark site, half a year ago it worked fine.
What was before it - i have no idea, as I've bought this PC half a year ago.

Most pirated keys work only with the standalone version. But it is all fine, there is nothing wrong with 3DMark in this case. If you remove the pirated keys from registry, it will work normally.

Also we'd of course be happy if you would not use pirated keys. Because reasons :)

I was having the same issue. Just built a new Ryzen 7000 machine; installed Steam and the demo completely disappeared from my library and the store page.

I don't know how you made this link, but it worked. So thank you for that

demos only exsists as long as you have them installed in your steam library. If you deinstall it, it will be removed from library. A file deletion counts as deinstall.
