3DMark 11 physics test uses all available cores automatically so only way it would only use one of them is if you somehow have Windows set to use only one core.

im guessing something like a core 2 quad q6600 , its a good cpu as all i know

A Q6600 is ancient and would get obliterated even by the slowest i3.
