You have a corrupted 3DMark installation.

Try going to

C:\ProgramData\Futuremark and deleting 3DMark folder

Then going to your Steam library folder and under

steamapps\common\3DMark\dlc\ delete the time-spy-test folder and the associated manifest file (if one exists)

Then reinstall Time Spy test data from Steam.

Does this fix the issue?

Reinstalled, deleted all the folders.. reran... re-verified..

Can you email to info@futuremark.com the auto-saved result file from Documents/3DMark/ folder from this failed run, that would give more information to investigate this.

Do you have Precision/Afterburner or anything like that runnning? If so, turn it off and retest.

I'm sorry, but i have the same problem with a SLI 1080ti...
It's a brand new installation of 3D Mark...and the driver are the last one.

if your using any overclocking software that comes with your gpu, it will prevent 3D Mark from working.

Only fix I had was

A) Turn off Samsung Magician
B) Turn off and Uninstall Game First (Asus Mobo software)
C) Turn off EVGA Precision OCX

this allowed me to run Time Spy with my 2 970's and then again with my 2 1070's.

Any background application that does overlays or otherwise pokes in low level hardware monitoring can interfere.

You should shut down all background programs that are not absolutely required before benchmarking anyway as they can negatively affect the score.

Nothing much we can do about this - 3DMark simply requests an exclusive full screen mode to ensure reliable scoring and if some other application tries to "hijack" to this without letting 3DMark retain exclusive control, things can go wrong. I know some overlays do work, so this may depend on how exactly the overlay is implemented.

Found the problem is was performance overlay from the EVGA precisionx Software Thanks.
Disabling OSD fixed my issues with it also, thanks!
