Folk Horror Meets Cozy Farming Sim Vibes
I have so much to say after playing for a bit.
The overall tone of dread and folk horror I think is a fantastic idea. The fact that food can become scarce and the villagers are on edge because of recent events makes for a much more interesting setting then "Start a farm, good luck." which most farming sims are.

I'm very keen to play this when its fully released and feature complete. I really hope you are all leaning into the horror aspect (not like straight up terror but like subtle/slow burn horror)

For literal years I have been wanting a mature farming life sim where there are stakes and it's not just about making friends. And fortunately I also love anthropomorphic stories like Redwall and Mouseguard. Really really looking forward to the final release of this one..

Indeed I usually can't get invested in farming sims as they tend to not have much of a goal. Seems like this is doing a great job at addressing that and I'm really hankering to play it when it comes out.

Honestly I'm just slightly upset that my farm progress is gonna be lost, I tend to get really specific about how I place stuff ya know? Also I wish the meetings and stuff were actually an opportunity for the player to talk to everyone. Feel like it'd be nicer that way ya know?

Redwall is exactly what this reminds me of as well, spot on.
