Error "cant find central directory in zip"

When I launch xenonauts I have a small window that says "can't find cental direcory in zip" I try to reinstall and delete game files in documents but this didnt help

No for windows i have windows seven That never happend before i bought this game long time ago

Never heard of that before. Remember the actual game files aren't in your documents (that's just your save games), they're in your Steam install directory. I suggest you validate your game files through Steam to ensure they're all up-to-date and you're not missing anything.

Yes I know that the main game files in a steam folder and I reinstall game and check cash All files are in place but the problem dont go away(

I delete all game files and reinstall the game once again now this window doesnt exist. magic

I fresh installed after deleting all the mods, it doesnt do this for me no more.

i figured it out. i've been testing what mods cause it and the only time it comes up is when the x:ce beta is active and the x:ce mod is downloaded. so basically the community edition is out of date

ive just started to have this issue aswell,
far as i can tell if i ignore it i and play it still works fine,

currently using the comunity beta aswell
only just started having the problem, had a few mods installed worked perfectly fine for a day or so just started to have the issue somewhere in the last 6-10 hours

Is this error even really a problem though? I've been able to just ignore it and the game seems to run fine.

my guess is the issue whatever it was now, as been fixed...... i mean........
we are on X2 now, and has been out of EA for god only knows now
