Bug - Mostly white map textures on alien terror mission
Encountered a bug earlier today, I had most of the map textures appear solid white when landing at an alien terror location. Here is a link to a screenshot: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/88734/2014-06-22_00001.jpg

Oh yes this has happened to me too. I simple reloaded and did the mission again generating a new map. I would love to know what causes this too. I think one of the maps has broken textures.

Same thing happened to me today. Too bad they didn't fix it since June 2014....
I suppose it could be related to "alt+tab" out of the game.

This is one of the common bugs reported in this thread with a solution (see bug 7): http://www.goldhawkinteractive.com/forums/showthread.php/11735-Common-Bugs-Fixes-in-Xenonauts!

Relevant part:
"If you are getting white squares or triangles in the ground combat, you are suffering from display issues. Please ensure you have validated your game files using the instructions at the top of this thread.

If this does not correct the issue, it is likely to be a memory issue with our tile atlases. Removing the tile atlases will slow load times but should correct the slowdowns; please switch to our Compatibility branch as this does not use them. The instructions on how to do so are here:http://www.goldhawkinteractive.com/f...Steam-Branches "

I just did what Mr.Kill did and that worked for me. Simply re loading the level fixed it. Next time I play I will try your suggestion though. Thanks.

Reloaded the level din't do it for me. I had to restart the game and reload the level. It was a terror camp, maybe that's why.
