Idle Dice 2

"Auto Draw Cost" multipliers should be removed.
This game attempts to use a system of balances for some of their cards, ones deemed 'too powerful' are then given a hindrance to counter that. Something to offset the benefit of using that card. However, a few too many have a negative to the auto draw cost as their balance. Auto draw, however, is not a balance issue. It's a convenience issue. You are not doing anything to make the game "harder" on a balance, number scale. All you're doing is making the game take more time and input from the player. And I don't see any reason why an idle game needs MORE babysitting rather than less. Remove the penalties to the Quality of Life upgrades.

honestly, I don't feel like this is really a problem. I mean maybe for a couple runs it could be especially if you get hit with a -auto draws curse before you've gilded the auto draws card? honestly that actually happened to me and it wasn't really a big deal. but once you get wheel multi (and you should get that asap cause it's strong and only requires doing a day or two run to let a few million draws pile up) you'll end up spinning so many of these it's obscene. I've hit it I think twice since unlocking wheel multi, I have 3.2 TRILLION draws waiting. even with over 1000x auto draw cost multipliers that number just doesn't move at all. and if I were to hit that 0.84% wheel slot again right now...+150T more...
I don't know how many more cards have auto draw cost multipliers on them, but the two I have are...not all that impressive, at least at deck 19~20 range, and have low scaling on auto draws anyways, like 1.15x per card.

auto draw cost gets very expensive with D20 in the deck so unless you have enough x to the point where WWW gives you enough wheel multi to get more auto draws than auto draw cost costs, it's becomes too expensive from my experience(auto draw cost was e1000's higher than the amount of auto draws I had even with all cards with auto draw cost penalties ungilded). also, auto draw as of right now is a hindrance because the curse prevention cap is currently 90% which means in order to maximise the amount of decks completed, you have to banish curses after every deck completion, which is painfully slow without Z(and with Z at high deck completions where the game freezes from the amount of curses loading).

agree with that, right now I have around 2Sx Auto Draws, but the cost to do one is 4e64... I had to install an auto clicker to play and draw the cards, this Auto draw cost is useless except for making the game more annoying to play.

Edit:
Progressed a little, and it's even worse :(
Got 100Sp, cost for one is 1e203

ok so I just unlocked D6...I now begin to understand the problem. yeah, definitely needs to be rebalanced or removed entirely.
and...less than an hour later unlocked D20...holy F*** I have over 2k draws, have to pull em by hand. auto-draw balance is complete ♥♥♥♥. totally agree, auto-draw costs should be removed
EDIT: gave up at ~8k manual draws. that was one run, and I had over 3K left I could pull. it's literally unplayable at that point, even with an autoclicker, you can't do anything else for a good 30 minutes because card spin lag after every draw. and the autodraw feature needs about e400 draw stock to pull one card, you have like e15? e15. out of ~e400.

There are ways to solve this problem. As far as I can tell with the little I know (I've been playing the game for about 2 weeks now - haven't even unlocked Z yet)), you can do the following things to make auto draw life a bit easier.

1. Use banishments tactically
- Banish curse cards that negatively affect Wheel Reward Multi, as those also significantly lower the amount of auto draws you get when you spin.
- Be mindful of which cursed D-cards you banish, as they also reverse (and therefore *lower*) the cost of auto draws. For example, I do *not* banish the D20 card. Yes, that lowers Card Progression, but also makes auto draws way cheaper.

2. Forge
Make sure to forge some Auto Draw Speed enchantments and apply them.

3. Prestige!
After prestiging, make sure to also upgrade Auto Draw Speed.

4. Auto Spins
Use (or at least make sure you have gilded) the A** (you know which one I mean) and S cards. They give auto spins and multiply the speed by which they are used. Useful for letting the game simmer while you AFK to rack up some stuff - even without Z).
NOTE: Make sure you have at least one dice row available for rolling straights, otherwise you won't get auto spins.

5. Roulette Wheel
Consider putting a number of shards into upgrading Auto Draws Size to spin them more often.

Again, I'm no expert, and maybe some of these don't even really work well. I'm not the extensively-testy type. But these are at least, I hope, a few options that will help people to overcome this problem. I'm sure there's more, and there may even be some fantastic deck combo possible that allows for quickly racking up loads of auto draws, especially combined with the proper enchantments. Haven't figured it out yet though. If I do, I'll post here.

EDIT: Oh, and one last note. This game seems to depend quite heavily on luck, so if things seem to work badly, I tend not to give up on an idea immediately, but trying at least a few runs to see what works and what doesn't.

EDIT2: Just discovered something new: play around with ungilding D-cards. Especially the D20's, but the others also. When draws are cheap, auto draw. Then turn the gild of that card back on to get more card prog.
