Widescreen resolutions not showing as they should
I set it so the game would play in 848x480. I did apply changes and it is set to play windowed. When the game comes up, it is 800x600 instead. Not a big deal, I can play it at least, but definitely something that would be good to look into!

The game will use the nearest correct ratio resolution in windowed mode. If you want it wide in windowed, try setting Chronicles mode and messing with the resolution a bit that way. I'll try to improve this as time goes along.

Is Chronicles mode within the game then?

And like I said, not a huge deal, it's more that the widescreen ones look better and it's easier to get one that doesn't get covered by my taskbar and it looks odd when you select one thing and another comes up! Made me go WTF for sure!

Nah, I mean under "Display Mode" in the config.

Since this deals with a similar situation, I thought it better to post here than make a new thread.

I set it to Chronicles mode at 1600x900, but when it loads it comes out as more like 1280x960, maybe even smaller. Is there no closer resolution? When I force maximize it on my screen it ends up extremely distorted, but that's the resolution it goes to in Chronicles mode.
For some reason my Window is still centered towards the left i cant figure out how to make it stay in the middle
I ve been playing with the config but nothing seems to work

There's something really goofy about the windowed resolutions. I chose my maximum resolution of 1680x1050 in Chronicles (30:17) mode and it gave me a 1260x714 window. It's only using about half the pixels on my screen and I can't figure out how to get the window any larger.

You actually can resize the window by clicking on a corner and dragging it out to increase size. It keeps aspect ratio and increases the size. Screencaps will still be at the chosen resolution but it is a good workaround.

I decided to play at 4:3 anyway because more of the game area is visible. In 30:17 mode it's zoomed in way too much.

Your settings are actually affected by your monitors display resolution in your display settings. Sometimes you can only go a sertain resolution and not the choices you are given.
