Too bad the other damn save that I have is outside the tower so I might have to do it all over again
So I'm guessing the game crashes whenever you close a menu in floor 17 for some reason, cuz once I just checked the bestiary in that area and it also crashed.
Hopefully Ys 2 doesn't have something like this.
Same issue here.
I'm not replaying the whole game because of a save bug.
My game is also stuck on 17th floor.
How do we do that?
I mean, all what happens is: you load the game, the game closes.
No error message, nothing.
is there a tool I can use to report back?
Still, if there are minidumps and they can be uploaded somewhere, it'd really make problems like these easier to check into, because I can basically just load them into my debugging software and find exactly where in the code the crash is.
If you have to replay the whole game then oof. I'd suggest just play it on nightmare right away if you care about achievements, but then you would have to suffer through getting the complete bestiary on that difficulty. It's like pick your poison at this point lol

I was playing on Nightmare already, filling the beastiary also.
I still need to redo the game since I missed that stupid Dr. Klaus.
One and a half nightmare runs are enough.
To avoid your save corrupting, I would advise everyone to NOT SAVE while on this screen, and especially not in the corner where the scorpions spawn. If you are going to save, or even if you are working on the bestiary entry and want to check your progress on that, exit the room to the outer tower walkway first.
