Is Charged Octanite Actually in the Game?

I have been searching for multiple hours, looking through every crafting recipe, doing everything I can to figure out how to get Charged Octanite. Do I have to find it, craft it, or what. Please, someone help, I wish to continue playing but I can't until I get Charged Octanite.

im wondering how this didnt happen by itself for you.

the simplest auto mining setup is a mining post with a one or 2 collectors and a charger next to it.

the charger has pretty large range and should have just randomly zapped the ore for you.

unless youre not automating your resource collection properly, i cant think of how that would happen.
