In the time it took to set that up (including thrift abuse), you could probably have gotten enough credits through fishing in White Peaks.

Did fishing in White Peaks get nerfed, or am I missing something? I only get one treasure every minute or so, and it gives around 100k~1M. That's only about 0.025% of the integer limit.
