Something broke with the island cores

after logging into the game i noticed i have a (new?) upgrade to spend points on to unlock more passive islands.

i could do 2 before. i spent points and upgraded it to 4, but after placing a third island core, i got an error message that i can only have 1 island core.

i tried placing a third core on a few islands and it kept giving me that message. then i tried to move my second core from one island to another, and that one stopped working aswell. i couldnt activate it anymore.

i returned to the table to see if there is something i missed and was presented with this. i dont even know what that means.

this seems to indicate that the entire skillbook stopped working. why is it crossed out?

Right click the book.

I just had the same problem. Even submitted it in the bug report thread. Kept trouble shooting while I waited for a reply. Eventually happened to right click the skill book in the research table. Removed the X. You can disable skills by right clicking and reenable them by right clicking again. After that, the island cores are working as intended again. User error on both our parts!
