AWESOME! But, i have a concern. How come you justify releasing the F-35 despite lack of available information yet sooo many aircraft (to much to mention) are redlit because of the same reason?

Folks please stay on topic here, this is for patch note discussion.
Thank you
AH-64: Fixed: George AI does not see the targets when fog is in Auto mod.

Mi-24P have exactly same issue. Was it fixed only in AH-64?

For those not wanting to navigate offsite:
Why the F-35A?
[...] We chose to simulate this aircraft based on its fame and the large number of both combat aviation enthusiasts and more casual virtual pilots that are eager to experience its capabilities on the modern, virtual battlefield that only DCS can offer.

[...]

How will you simulate it given the lack of reference documents?

Starting around 2010, hands-on F-35 demonstrations became commonplace at defense tradeshows. These featured detailed system demonstrations that covered a broad range of operations and capabilities that provided great insight into the operation of the aircraft across different mission types. Our goal is to create an F-35A simulation that combines this wealth of data with academic papers, public sub-systems data, and common Pilot Vehicle Interface (PVI) to fill in only a few areas lacking any information (like other existing DCS aircraft). Compared to other modern aircraft, we’ve discovered a great deal more information about its operation than most 4 and 4+ generation aircraft.

Our F-35A will not be based on guesswork, watching air shows, Wikipedia or anything like that. Rather it is being designed in relation to credible data that we feel very confident will provide a good representation of what it is to operate this aircraft in the context of a study-level flight simulation game for the entertainment market.

Just mind it is official Eagle Dynamics and DCS forum. Steam forum is extremely poor in comparsion with the official one.

I wasn't trying to say it was a suspicious site or anything - I'm often on their forums as well. With that said, that doesn't mean everyone is, and moving to another site is a barrier to some.

So you guys are never going to fix the cloudy reflection bug on the right side of the F-16 canopy?

This is great thank you! hope this fixes the strange "stretched explosion decal" artefacts/textures in the sky on MP.

You can turn canopy reflections off in settings, (slider down to 0) not sure if this helps you out a little, only noticed it the other day myself.

That does not fix it.
Thanks ED, I was getting really worried about those wheel chock textures for the Apache!
