It's the Strait of Hormuz, not the Persian Gulf. I looked at a map, then I looked at the DCS map. Qatar is empty, as is Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Iraq, and most of Iran that touches the Gulf. Even simple but critical things in the Gulf (like Khark Island) are missing.

ED called[forum.dcs.world] it the Strait of Hormuz before changing it to the Persian Gulf for some reason. The Persian Gulf name is a misnomer, and he's not the first to request that it be filled out or renamed.

somehow MSFS already has better ATC and ground crew yet DCS has been in development YEARS longer than MSFS. And whilst there are differences in the team size at ASOBO, the amount of money, community support etc flowing into ED should have easily finished most products by now.

As we have mentioned in previous newsletter super carrier is new tech for DCS, some of the new features require core updates like multithreading work and vulkan, so we will need to be patient, basically we reached the limits of what dx11 could do.
At the moment we are working on plane directors who will tell you where to go, marshal you into position.

ATC and other already in development projects are huge tasks, we get that it seems like a long development, but it can only be this way, our team is not huge, so we appreciate your patience.

Seriously ED, if it wasn't for "external" scripter support this game would be dead. They are doing all the heavy lifting making the game fun via dedicated servers.

Where is ground AI? Soldiers just stand around like sticks not to mention unrealistic lemming convoys.

Where are free campaigns? Why do the aircraft you release not include fully detailed out campaigns? Instead you rely on external sources.

Where is the focus on making the core game fun, feature full and believable?

Ask yourself the question, "If all server scripters vanished tomorrow, could the game continue?"

Maybe if you rely on them so heavily, you should start dedicating support to them.
