Yeah imagine that, a flyable B1-B would be interesting, imagine the anxiousness of hoping you wont get intercepted and hoping your sides fighters can keep the enemy fighters off your back while you get you mission done. I think that would be very cool. I'm a fan of Harrier and A-10 for that exact same reason.

I used to know a Bone backseater back in the 90s. I remember asking him about fighter interception and he was remarkably unconcerned.
Apparently between low-alt speed, TFR, and the defensive electronics (which was his station), he felt confident they weren't in danger from any current fighters.
That was 20 years ago, of course, things change, but still there were Flankers and Fulcrums and Foxhounds then, too.

Yeah a complete B-1B would be bad-ass. I think DCS should really consider this one.

God my hopes really soared for a moment when I read the title then I got to the part in the article and now I'm sad. I work on the Bone so flying them would be amazing but it will be nice to see the in game models upgraded never the less.
