There are changes in caucasus and other terrains. For me the update had 20 gigs and 40 after unpacking.

That´s why i´ll install a 1 TB SSD tomorrow - for DCS only.
Currently DCS and Windows are sharing a 500GB SSD and it gets PRETTY tight by now since i bought some modules recently ...

BY the way: Why did they have to remove the "A10CII Real" layout in controls ? Now i have to remap everything in the A10 - thank you.

I don't understand. A-10C is the suite 3.1 A-10C II is the Suite 7 if I am right. There was changed the HOTAS system in suite 7 to make it more accurate. Not less. throttle hats in suite 7 have bit different functions.

I was referring to the control layout ingame where you can set your controls. In the upper left corner you can select the control sceme (e.g. A-10C Arcade, F/A-18C Arcade, General, GUI Layer, etc.). There was a sceme named "A10C Real" before the update - there i mapped all my controls - now this profile is gone and i have to remap everything.

Is there any other way i am not aware of ?

In the meantime the A-10C was upgraded. It got new "suites". E.G. the suite 7 can carry the APKWS and has removed the TISL pod.

You can use google. Try to search e.g. "A-10C suite" You will find the latest is the suite 8

already did but i still do understand what those suites have to do with the issue i posted above.
