Mods on steam

Just wondering. Is installing mods like the F-22 possible on steam? Or do you need to install DCS on their website for it to work?

Yeah works fine in Steam, just install into Saved Games\DCS\Mods

If you put %USERPROFILE%\Saved Games\DCS into Search on the task bar takes you straight to the folder.

You will need the following folders if not already there:

DCS\Mods\Aircraft

DCS\Mods\Tech

and this folder if you want to add liveries for some of the official DCS aircraft:

DCS\Liveries

So for example the F-22A, think the default unzipped folder is just F-22A so it would be installed like this:

C:\Users\"Your Username"\Saved Games\DCS\Mods\aircraft\F-22A
