Any quick way to setup a hotas.

I just got the warthog HOTAS and want to fly the a10c, is there any quick way to setup all the controls? like a set profile or something, as right now it doesnt seem like anything is setup to play.

do basic controls first, then do your specials and keymapping should be relatively the same for all acfts

In general you should not have to setup TMHW for A-10C. It should be pre-mapped by developers.

Go to Chuck's guides and down load the manual for the A10CII. He has recommended HOTAS settings there.

Does it matter i dont have a rudder atm?

Okay did that all seems fine! Except no matter what I cannot get one of the engines to run! I get engine 1 up and running, engine 2 comes on but doesn’t spool all the way and if I move the throttle at all it dies

First the HOTAS must be synchronised with state of cockpit. You can do it manually by moving throttle to idle and then back to cutoff position or you can enable "synchronise controls with hotas at start" in misc options menu.

To run engines you need to have APU on, then start left engine, move the left throttle from off to idle and wait until the engine is on. Once on the right "tab" panel the autostart sequence light exhausts, you can start the second engine.
