How to see aircraft above me in F15C on radar

I was playing the mission in FC3 Campaign where you fly low level through a valley and shoot an AWACs high up in altitude after you exit the valley. I couldn't seem to find targets with my radar that were 20 miles ahead and high above me. They weren't showing on my radar.

I used the ; and . key to move the cursor up on the radar and look at altitudes above me but I could not seem to see the aircraft on my radar. It wasn't till I got 10 NM away that I could lock them up with boresight mode.


Is there a better way to tilt the radar up and see aircraft that are high above you?

Moving the cursor up on your screen doesn't make the radar change elevation :)
I don't know if the simplified model of the F15 allow to change radar elevation but that's what you want to do in order to look further above.

Thanks, the symbology is misleading. With the cursor button up and down on radar display you see the what looks like an increase and decrease in altitudes on the left side of the radar display.

In the heat of the battle, I forgot to use shift + : and shift + .

This did the trick.
