DCS Activation key ????

Ive received my cd key which is YIPPEE i can finally play the sim,But when i run the game it asks for a activation key,Ive tried putting in the cd key but this does not work,Am i doing something wrong PLEASE HELP thank you.

Sorry to steal the topic but how does activation work? mine asked me to activate but warned me i only had 9 activations left? Is this normal?

Yep - the modules can be used outside of Steam so have a DRM. You get back an activation back automatically per month, so in reality it's pretty hard to run out of the 10 (i.e. forget 10 times when uninstalling to deactivate or change 10 motherboards a month etc)

I meant to say SERIAL CODE not ACTIVATION KEY,i get onto the dcs world home page and the dcs a10c module is unlocked but when i start it by either trying a training tutorial or mission i get a prompt to enter a serial code,it says i can buy a serial code but surely thats not correct as i purchased the game from steam with a cd key,Anyway im not sure what you mean by you only have 9 activations left i havent come across that yet sorry cant help.

In the Steam library when DCS World is selected there is a 'CD Key' action on the right. Use that and it'll list all the activation keys for the DLC you have bought.

One additional tip for activation is that if you purchase a few DLC at once (i.e. maybe there is a good sale on ) then it's easy to activate the 'wrong module' so to speak. It will ask for a serial number, and just because you have for example chosen to fly the Huey it might be asking for your Black Shark 2 key instead, even though you'd think the Huey key isn't working.

I guess the tip is 'if you have a few keys, please try them all' as that's probably it.

I did purchase a couple of dcs modules at the same time so i took yr advice and tried all the keys and it worked so THANK YOU fearlessfrog FINALLY i can get of with trying to fly but failing and burning,CHEERS FROG.

This does work^^^ I put all my keys in after it said the key for the plane I just bought was wrong and for some weird reason it all said they all failed failed but then I put my Key for the Mig-21 that I just bought after I put those keys back in and it worked
