I'm in the same situation as you, in my razbam case I have the M2000 and the Harrier but right now I don't fly them, I mainly fly the F16 and F4 phantom (the latter is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ marvel) but I'm interested in the F15E and I haven't bought it yet because of that, the dispute between RS and ED and I don't want to spend +50 euros for nothing, if someone could tell us something official or at least send a reassurance message it would be appreciated.
might not function after a major engine change/upgrade? also yes.
if you don't get too attatched to their products then there's months, perhaps years of fun left in them. They might not be around for the full life of DCS though.
So first let's talk about where things stand right now from as objective a stance as I can take. The Mirage 2000 is in decent shape. It is their oldest module and the one that they actually finished to the most complete degree. As it is right now, it is a good module. Keep in mind that since RAZBAM is no longer supporting their modules, it could very likely start getting more and more buggy as time goes on and there is only so much that Eagle Dynamics is going to be able to do about it.
Up next is the Harrier. In comparison to other similar modules in DCS, it is in somewhat rough shape. Some will argue that it is still fun regardless of its issues but on a basic technical level, it needs more work and general polish that it isn't likely to ever get. It is still playable but its complexity (and existing issues) make it less compelling considering the current RAZBAM dispute.
The MiG-19 has largely been abandoned and while it is flyable and some have fun with it, there is no debating that it never got the support it really should have had and now it is too late to expect it to ever reach its promised state.
The F-15E is where things will no doubt get a lot more controversial because some folks have different standards than others. At the moment, the F-15E is missing huge chunks of functionality and hasn't even reached its initial promised early access state. Regardless of one's loyalty to the aircraft itself or RAZBAM as a company, the module isn't in a good place and isn't currently worth the asking price considering that it isn't likely to ever get additional features/systems.
Overall? I don't think it is wise to buy RAZBAM stuff at this time and I don't really see a scenario where RAZBAM starts working on their modules again. It is better to focus on the stuff that other third parties and ED themselves are making.
Perhaps, Even if RAZBAN wont maintain them anymore is very likely ED will do.
Wise?
Definitely no, especially unfinished F-15E
