throttle not working

for some reason my throttle is at half thrust and if i push it forwared it goes to full throttle and if i invert the setting my throttle goes from half throttle to zero throttle does anyone have a solution.

note: i am using VKB omni throttle and joy-stick because i got them for star citizen and decided to try dcs

Sorry for my english but im try do my best. Reason is that your joystick is detected in the game with many axies. Go to settings---axies.... and note that few postions like rudder , or elevator are used by same axis on your joystick or another devices with other axis. You must click those which you dont want to use and delete them, ( some of those axis are lets say "fighting" each others) leaving only axis you wish to use. thats all. how much this game i love, settings is one of the worst ever games ive played

First of all:
Open windows start menu¨
Write: "Joy.cpl"
Press enter.
Double click your throttle controller window.
Slowly move your throttle axis and make sure it moves in its full range smoothly, without spikes.
Dont' do anything else. Specially do not use the calibration. By that you will mess everything.
