Crashes continue....

Well, the latest update seems to have really screwed up a good many folks's installations! I still can't get mine to start at all.... crashes every time you try to launch any mission during the boot up process.
Thanks again to Troll Norris by the way for trying to help....
Tried with and without new launcher
Tried with and without joystick connected
Tried with and without anti virus running
Ran file integrity check
Out of desperation, un-installed and tried complete clean install (Troll Norris was right...that didn't work either)
The only module I have purchased to date was Flaming Cliffs 3 (from Steam) and everything worked fine up to the latest update. I brought the FC2024 upgrade, and the game updated to the latest version, since then, it just doesn't work for me! It seems that something's been introduced within the latest update that conflicts with my machine, so at the moment I have 170GB of un-unusable wasted disc space!
I'm now thinking of un-installing and abandoning the game until they get this mess sorted out!

Same thing for me.... unable to play snce update. I only play SP and now I can't finish one mission in any campaing even the new ones ... each time DCS crash....

having the same issue get an error code following modules not authorised and i own them ...last issue was it crashed before it loads !! why seems like every month a new issue arises
thinking i eat the 600 i have spent and just go straight eagles website and buy all the mods and be done with DCS on Steam

Same here. Since the update i can not start the Game. Well i can start it in steam until the "new" starting screen comes and then when i try to press "play" (lower right corner) nothing happens and i will fall back to my steam screen. i ran the integrety check and so on but nothing helped. Ok one time (few days ago) it started and i could play. I did not change anything and now same sh*** again..... what i see is a red dot at the start screen on the "Files" on the left side but i can not find what it means. I tried not to looad all i bought (no mods only bought official stuff in steam) but this does not help....

After last update it's happening to me as well. When i choose to fly with f-16c. Since the last update in loading screen crashes every time in the moment World Preload: 1/60. it started after update. I tried every solution i can find on internet even deleted and reinstalled the all 200 gb game and mods. but still i have the same problem.

The Data File on the start screen of DCS (when i start from steam this new DCS intro) shows on every map/plane i bought in steam "not compatible with steam" (the "i" icon when i press it) But i bought the Game on steam, all the maps and planes i own i bought on steam and i played 40hrs the game , started in steam..... what the ******

Steam forum is terrible for trying to help people. We need to see your DCS logs and dxdiag to get an idea of what is going on.

you can also join our discord and attach your dcs log to the analyser channel for automated dcs log reading and results.

same thing here.. never had any issues until the latest update the game wont even play anymore just crashes on world loading 2/60. I tried repair, i tried reinstall, i use no mods or any unofficial addons. I get no error message or log displayed after the crash, it simply just closes the game. This happens with all aircrafts and maps, same result.. what did u do ?!

DCS starts in the monitor but not VR maybe its in the VR that dxdiag has a problem

It is openxr if you use VR it will crash turn it off it worked for me

I also have been having issues with DCS. I think a lot of people across the board have been having issues with DCS since the "launcher" update. I just hope it gets fixed soon.

Edit: I noticed that their is no CPU activity when the "15 years" loading screen comes up, and it's spiting a bunch of fx shader errors. Despite having the currect d3dcompiler_47 compiler.

Yep, total failure to launch on Linux (after rock-solid performance for years) and lower FPS on Windows. I went from 120+ constantly to dips into the 40s. I always dread DCS updates.

You can revert to the previous version with the package posted at the ED forums. Reinstalling the game won't work, as it just forces the latest version. This worked for me:
