The integrated graphics will be a problem, so I'd guess no - sorry.

The DCS World base is free, so if you don't mind the download then its easy to at least try.

You also need a 64bit OS to run it or it will just crash. You didn't say if you had a 32bit or 64bit OS so I'm letting you know just in case.

Download DCS World and try it out. I doubt you will get it running well if at all since you are using integrated graphics. It sounds like you are on a laptop? If you are on a desktop you can grab a relatively cheap graphics card and drop it in.

To be honest, no, you won't be able to run it and that is mainly due to your integrated graphics card, there are no two ways about it, the sim just won't run properly.

While planning for your upgrade, you should factor in a joystick if you don't already have one, it might as well also be part of the minimum requirements.

I think no.

Intel HD Graphics is only HD in 2D and NOT 3D rendering.

It even struggles with Win Aero interface. (thus removed in Win8)
Those chips are very slow and may also cause Youtube stutters.

Intel does CPUs well but provides the basic graphics functionality only.
The name is just a misleading marketing theme.

Honestly, I would not even attempt to run DCS on a laptop, unless it's a gaming one specifically.

i can run fsx maximum settings +30fps, GTA IV Low to Medium +30fps, Driver San francisco High settings 40fps. Batman High Settings 30+ fps, CS:GO Medium Settings +40fps, War Thunder +35 fps Its not bad as everyone thinks.

The "HD" is a marketing name. It's processing power in 3D graphics is roughly equivalent to an nVidia GeForce 540M. Which, as you may recall, you used to find not too long ago in notebooks targeting the lower portable gaming segment.

Youtube issues occur when they use inefficient protocols (like Flash, for example). The HD4600 is much more powerful than the GPU's used in upmarket handsets, which do that job admirably.

However, just like with a 540M, for demanting 3D application you need to reduce the resolution. For DCS though, I agree that it is way too starved of power. An even bigger deal however is that different notebook manufacturers might have throttled it differently. However, just to point it out:

http://www.notebookcheck.net/Review-Intel-HD-Graphics-4600.93188.0.html

Note how they, at 1024*768, did get the 4600 running Battlefield 3 at 30+ FPS. Skyrim at 51 on 1280*720. Crysis 3 at 30 as well.

Basically, the Intel graphics cirquits are the same as the lower-market AMD and nVidia ones. They can do gaming, but if you have a 1080p screen, you'll have to reduce that. And obviously, you won't be running at anything but lowest settings for a new game.

Regarding marketing name: they do exactly what they promise: give you high-definition (defined as 780p and 1080p) graphics on your computer. However, yes, they're not intended for _gaming_. But there is nothing misleading about the name: they do give you HD graphics.

You might want to re-read my post. As I pointed out in the post you quoted right there, it is actually as powerful as what was recently the lower-end card for he laptop gaming segment. ;)
You are using an argument you wrote against someone else to counter the argument I gave against that very same person. ;)

However:

FSX is 8 years old. (EIGHT!)
GTA 4 is 6 years old.
Driver San Francisco was made for console - including Wii. So yeah.
CS:Go is not graphically advanced, using an ancient engine.
Which specific batman game? Arkham Asyluim? 5 years old.
War Thunder is also pretty simple, but I haven't analyzed it myself.

The big point however is: DCS World is actively developed NOW. It's not FSX. Therefore, we cannot guarantee what kind of experience you would have with that graphics chip. It will run it, but I cannot say how well. The solution in this case is to install DCS World and try it out, since DCS World is free.

This is incorrect. You can play many older games at max settings with Intel integrated graphics such as UT2004, Dawn of War, Quake, Half Life 2, Team Fortress 2, etc. The CPU speed greatly affects the ability to run them but "Intel HD Graphics" does not necessarily mean it cannot run 3D graphics engines. Please do not spread misinformation.
