I wouldn't buy anything from Razbam until you know for sure that they will keep working on thier modules.
Both maps were made by the same core team. The team was not Razbam but it was under Razbam for South Atlantic. For Kola they are under Orbx.

I also read on ED forum about it.
Confusing stuff. If I'm wrong, please correct me.
Major problems with Kola seems to mosty be related to the limitations of the DCS terrain engine. That Orbx are hoping to work with ED to fix these.
Kola looks stunning under the right circumstances, just like SA.
The difference is Kola is a map were F18,F16, Viggen, F5, MiG21 MiG23, MiG29, Su27 and F104 called/calls home. And stuff like F4, Apache, F15, A10, Harrier, F1, M2000 would often train or even temporarily be stationed there. The list of NATO aircraft planned to be deployed there in a hot war with soviet Union/Russia is extensive.
Already it seems Kola has more servers than SA ever had, two campaigns are coming for it within a few months. And the F4 coming on Tuesday will have missions and quick missions on the Kola map.
