Mig-21 bis Countermeasures

It seems I can't drop chaff or flares. I got them mounted (probably) in the mission editor loadout, my SPRD system and SPRD drop system is on, I hit Lalt+space and LCtrl+space and nothing happens. Any thoughts?

Check bindings in DCS options -> controls.

For ASO-2 flares/chaff pod, you need to lift up the red cap next to the throttle and then use Q to dispense CM.

For SPS-141 ECM, need to turn it on, basically flip all switches up once, including the automatic switch to manual and the dispensing pattern switch. Also a black cap on the release button needs lifting then Q.

For the SPRD-99 rocket boosters, as long as the power and drop system is turned on with 3 switches on the right side, then it kicks in automatically at 120-150km on takeoff. Then jettison it with Q.

The above still applies, but I must have mapped it to Q, holding Q to continuously dispense, don't think that's the default for MiG-21.

Do not forget to power ASO up by turning on the SPRD power and drop switches (RH50 and RH51), since the ASO is mounted on the SPRD mounts! Probably a common mistake, those switches are easily overseen and it's not really self-explaining to use the booster-switches also for your chaffs and flares. :)
