Single player experience?

How forced can a player get to be with friends or other people at all in order to play this game?
Are there any simgle player experiences? Is there a story mode that can be followed by one single player without the need of help from others in order to play this?

And as a free game, how much is spending money needed in order to play this? (because most of no all free games have microtransaction markets)

Sorry,my english not good,i pick i can understand one, free includ SU25T and TF51D, other plane is DLC,you need spend money to get it , like A10C and MIG21bis,i don't know if i understand you right, there have coop misstion,but only you own that plane, plane diffrent,misstion diffrent......sh*t, i really need learn english.....sorry,hope you know how to read this

You can play SP without feeling completely alone, thanks to the AI (even if sometimes it's a bit bugged). Playing MP is a little bonus since you can talk to others and cooperate/fight more freely.

There's a campaign for each aircraft included in the game, as well as some SP missions. You can also download user-created files here: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/
(Skins, missions, campaigns, mods, etc...), so you don't need to always play MP.

About money, you can try the free Su-25T and the TF-51 (unarmed training version of the P-51 Mustang) and get your opinion whether it's worth getting more (and different) aircrafts or not.
You don't need money if you don't want to buy any other aircraft. It's really up to you.

None. You only pay for the modules (DLC).
