Joystick pulling slightly left in DCS
Tried it with two joysticks, same issue.. How do I calibrate it properly? Can't find any clear answers.

You can use the right control + Enter key to bring up the axis viewer. If the stick looks centred then it's probably a flight trim issue, i.e. dependant on aircraft, speed, etc.

Yeah i have tried that, it happens as soon as the game starts, It is really annoying and have no idea how to properly calibrate it.

In windows the device usually had a calibrate. Which stick is it?

How to Calibrate a Game Controller (Windows 7):

Also, you could set up a dead zone via the Axis Tune option in the controls.

It sounds similar to this (I remember something about a joystick pulling left from before):

Does the same workaround help?

Probably just wind :) Have you tried to launch a mission from the editor with 0 winds?

You can also try Thrustmaster's Calibration Tool and see if that helps.

I had similar aircraft behaviour to yours, here and in FSX/P3D: once I verified that HOTAS (TM Cougar, then Warthog) was correctly calibrated, I used aileron trim in FSX/P3D, meanwhile in DCS I set up different axes for the engines and compensated with different power setting

What module? It could just be torque

There could be a few issues. A similar thing happened to me when I started playing. I set the joystick deadzone to about 5-10, which seemed to fix it. However, after a few months, I turned the deadzone off, and realized my hand just hadn't been used to the sensitivity of the joystick, and that was throwing me off.

Or unbalanced payload...

Still got got no idea whats causing it, I've tried all of the advice you guys gave me.. I'm not having this issue on games like x-plane,arma 2 arma 3, I-l2.. only this.. :S Really bugging me >.< The module is the KA-50 Black Shark

be sure that you have not any programmed key firing any unintentional trimming input
Hadji Sep 24, 2014 @ 2:20am
Don't have any experience with the KA-50 but you are countering the turning with rudder input right?

Nope can only counter it using the joystick, when i open up the rctrl+enter rudder is positioned in the center when not in use, Same with pitch and yaw, But roll is slightly left, the only way i found to fix it is to use the trim, But It really is annoying.

Well, I can't fly the UH-1 without adding counter rudder input. The helo wants to turn because of the effect from the rotor. Are you sure this isn't what you are experiencing? I mean, you mention a few other titles you play but none of them have realistic helos.

Flying a helo requires constant rudder and stick input both in DCS and IRL. It's not like in Arma where it always fly in a straight line. I can have the stick centered but that won't keep the flight path straight unless I use the rudder pedals.
