Medium/high/High+
Should not have any blurring problems.
It will probably need some tinkering. Both in DCS settings and whatever meta program you have. But should work out well.

I just went through this about a year ago with the quest 3. There are a lot of great youtube videos that cover the different ways you can config things to improve image quality and FPS.

It can be a bit confusing, since there are different providers you can choose from for PCVR that works with the quest 3. When I first got the quest 3 I didn't realize there were different choices. It
took a while to figure out which one was best for my situation. The two I ended up trying out was 'virtual desktop' and 'Meta quest link'. Note that 'virtual desktop' is not
free but 'Meta quest link' is. Both support wireless, but only 'Meta quest link' supports a cable connection. If you have a really good wireless connection available 'Virtual desktop'
provides great image quality and is somewhat easy to setup. If you don't have a good wireless connection 'Meta quest link' has the ability to use a 'cable link' with a usb-c port.
I ended up going with the 'cable link'. My wireless connection would constantly drop in the middle of session, and I didn't feel like buying a new router.
My rig:
- i7 gen 11
- 64G RAM 3200
- RTX 4070 - DLSS on
- DCS in m2
- Quest 3 connected via cable link, 72Hz native resolution.

My case:
Single player: you can go to middle and high, no blur
Multi-player (I mostly play in 4YA servers): low everything

I noticed that sometimes the rendering thread is the one slowing down.

You have a better CPU than mine but be aware that CPUs gen 12 and up have performance cores and efficient cores, there is a program that set affinity to performance cores so you don´t suffer if Windows decides to switch DCS to Ecores.

As someone already said, go to youtube and look for "DCS Quest 3".
Thx for the head's up. I'm mainly concern about the bluryness and overall scene. Because the product tell's you it is 2000 pixel per eye. Wait a minute that's 4k resolution!!!

My system always struggle at 4k. On another note i was interested in the pimax crystal light but here again they say 2800 pixel per eye which is close to 8k.
Quest 2 and 3 will always have some form of blurryness, because they are not dedicated pcvr headsets. Therefore the images sent to the headset from your videocard need to be compressed and de-compressed, otherwise the data will be too large to sent and you'll get stuttering.

Downside of compressing an image is somewhat loss of clarity/sharpness and so you will have some blurryness.

If you dont want any form of that, you best bet is a dedicated pcvr headset like Pimax or Reverb

(And yes, i have owned a Quest 2 and 3)

Thx, im thinking the pimax crystal or light but now the light has no head tracking.

Of course it has head tracking. Do you mean hand tracking?

I have the basic Pimax light (without controllers and additional face plate) and have 0 issues with head tracking and i dont use hand tracking as i have a home build cockpit, so i have everything i need in reach

I do recommend to get the version with "local dimming" for better black levels. It makes a big difference in colors. Also, you might get thicker facepad as the headset sits quite close to your face

Well it has no external camera sensors like it's predecessor the pimax crystal. I have read the technology it's using is often problematic and stutter often as the CPU is working more.
