The F-14 is obviously a very, very well made module. It set a high standard that other third parties are yet to reach. Likewise. it is very fun to learn and (attempt to) master. You can't really go wrong with it.
The Supercarrier is also pretty fun but it only really comes into its own if you are interested in learning the proper carrier landing procedures. A lot of its core feature-set is focused around proper Case I, II, and III landings and while I encourage anyone to actually engage with that learning process since it really is fun and interesting, I understand that it isn't going to be everyone's cup of tea.
Both.

Supercarrier adds immersion early in the mission. It is VERY different alinging yourself on the shuttle with unrealistic refferencing the carrier deck than being directed by directors.
It pumps you up at mission start having all that life in the deck, albeit a tad robotic still.
I would get the carrier if you already have the fa 18.
I know it well :). The magic since getting the module never faded away. I'm constantly in awe to them in the carrier deck even more so now with the directors addition. But I always think it is me because of so much negativity around the web.

is that bug still around?
Anyway, it´s natural to try a different naval aircraft.
