IMHO the best dynamic campaing manager is DCS Liberation: https://github.com/dcs-liberation/dcs_liberation, followed by DCS Retribuition, (which is actually a branch of Liberation, with saved games backward compatibility)": https://github.com/dcs-retribution/dcs-retribution
Liberation has the same requirement but it hande it in a safer way:
No problems for me so far, just be sure to not play any other user made missions with Liberation client running.
ED is working on a native dynamic campaing manager whihc will be integrated into the DCS core game, not ETA at this time.
how safe and what do you mean by that?
Sorry, I thougt my quote was clear enough:
Liberation needs to modify <DCS Installation Directory>/Scripts/MissionScripting.lua BUT it makes a backup copy of your original file before you jump ito the cockpit, edit it and then restore the backed-up copy at mission end.
This way you are "exposed" only during flight period only.
Some systems are routinely cracked like EAC.
I call easy anti cheat, easy to cheat. The amount of games i have seen and played that had EAC, that were compromised time and time again makes this platform a joke in my opinion.
I just read their marketing spiel which is a complete joke.
Easy Anti-Cheat is the industry-leading anti-cheat service, countering hacking and cheating in multiplayer PC games through the use of hybrid anti-cheat ....
It is this deep level of integration at the kernel level and highest level of trust that i find distasteful. But my question is why this is needed for an offline single player campaign?
