Trouble with meta quest 3 in vr

i just bought as meta quest 3 for dcs only to find out apparently a lot of users are having trouble connecting through the wired link that i am trying to do. i know there are some work arounds and i was going to see if any of yall could explain those a little better or tell me how you were able to get your meta 3s working. again i am using a wired connection if that helps out any. thanks fellas.

I'm using "Virtual Desktop" wirelessly - need a fast WiFi router though and must be close to it. Haven't been on DCS recently, but that has always given me great reliable performance

The ideal way to use the quest is wireless with virtual desktop with a faste router. Then use a USB C plugged into a power socket to keep the headset going indefinitely.

I got mine working with steam link, also get steam vr for free to make it work. I also used a little bit of cable

I use quest 3 with the link cable, just run meta app on desktop, i have pulled a shortcut to the DCS.exe to my desktop and I launch from there, have to have steam running, but it launches jut fine without SteamVR.

You dont want to use steam vr. This is probably dated and I dont know if this is allowed but this video helped me out to get it nice and sweet

Virtual Desktop with a dedicated wifi 6 router will solve all Quest 3 problems.

hey fellas thank you for all the advice. Sorry it took me awhile to get back to yall. i got it working but am also looking into everything yall told me. DCS is amazing with the headset. I have only got to fly the BF 109 over Normandy so far, But Wow!!!!!!!!!! Ended up getting IL2 on sale for the winter break so i have been messing around with it a little more since it is easier to just jump in and get into a dogfight online. DCS honestly looks way better i think, but i still have a lot more studying on the BF 109 in DCS. much harder to fly than in IL2, but thats what i love about DCS. I cant wait for the release of the hellcat. Im not sure why but i like it more than the corsair coming up. But it is going to be awesome when DCS opens up a WW2 Pacific theatre. Cant Wait. Steam Link sucks. Best method is to use Virtual Desktop for any PCVR game.
